This includes processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity and applicable regulatory requirements. The scope of this system covers traffic management  and high friction surfacing services provided by Roadsafe.

  National Highways Sector Schemes are bespoke integrated management systems within an ISO 9001:2000 framework. They have been developed in partnership with all sides of the highways industry to interpret the international quality management standard as it applies to a particular activity or industry within the United Kingdom. They are designed to ensure that all processes are planned, provide a basis for continuous improvement, focus on quality as an objective, reduce overall costs for the client and supplier and provide and maintain a properly trained and competent workforce. Our traffic management team adheres to the strict guidelines of the scheme and all works are carried out to the highest possible standards by Sector Scheme 12A B & C certified operatives using modern vehicles and equipment.

   CHAS - Roadsafe is approved and accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current basic health and safety legislation. The Scheme is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. CHAS is a founder member and past Chair of Safety Schemes in Procurement. Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as suppliers compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers. CHAS assesses applicants Health and safety policy statement, their organisation for health and safety and their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to our buyers and to others.

    BBA Hapas Approved Installer of High Friction Surfacing - Roadsafe maintain approval from the BBA (British Board of Agrement) for HAPAS (The Highway Authority Product Approval Scheme) for Type 1 Hot Applied High Friction Anti-Skid surface treatment.

UVDB - The Utility Vendor Database provides independent assessment and benchmarking; credibility in the market place and industry specific assessments. All of which can lead to a significant reduction in the time and effort required by buyers to pre-qualify for contracts.
